National Emergency Management Agency (NYSC Vanguard)

November 3, 2016 was a day red lettered in the history of Community Development Service amidst corps members in effectively impacting community people in Igbo-eze north local government.

National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) CDS group is strictly interested in the safety of Nigerians.

In this wise the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) is a verified partner of NEMA and members of this group engage in ensuring that safety is of the essence amidst community people.

Safety is very important as if the environment or abode is not safe no businesses can occur. There will be loss of peace and fear would dwell. Safety is the number one prerequisite to good living. A country should be interested in securing the lives and properties of its citizens.

Corps members in this local government have thought it wise that sensitization is a major tool to avert major disasters. As a man who is informed cannot be deformed. Information is key.

Scouting out, the NEMA CDS group agreed that educating the minds of young children would affect the future. As the future lies with the Nigerian child. In a village setting as we are in it is pertinent to properly make members of our various communities to know about fire hazards, waste management, had their meeting, flooding and avoiding various form of unsafe acts. Today NFC, UDA was scouted.
